Join us for the opening reception of our latest Blue Wall artist during July Art Walk downtown at Flyby Provisions.
The latest collaboration between Lapis Room and Flyby Provisions brings Patrick Turk to the Blue Wall. Patrick is a collage artist based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Using multiple copies of the same books, he creates densely layered, hand-cut collages that explore psychedelic mindscapes, imagined ecosystems, multidimensional worlds, and the supernatural through surreal, satirical, and vividly hallucinatory imagery.
The Blue Wall at Flyby Provisions is a dedicated space for emerging artists curated by Lapis Room. This rotating micro-exhibition is a place where emerging creatives have a platform to showcase new work, develop their distinct style, and contribute fresh perspectives to the New Mexico art scene.
