Miranda Morehouse is a self-taught oil painter originally from Christmas Valley, Oregon, now based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She specializes in landscapes inspired by the desert sky, the moon, and the voluminous cloud formations of the Southwest. Miranda's paintings reflect what she sees while out on the trail - landscapes infused with vibrant colors leaving the entire scene taking on a glow.

In her work the clouds are saturated with pinks and lavender hues, deserts are more lush when the vegetation radiates above the burning sand. Miranda paints places you recognize, but they are turned into dreamworld versions with each stroke of the brush.
