Story
This Mica clay is sourced from the Manzano Mountains near Albuquerque, New Mexico, offers an authentic experience reminiscent of traditional Native American pottery. This naturally micaceous clay is air floated and blended with natural minerals to mimic the rich, earthy quality of local Taos NM clay. This wheel thrown pot is textured on top with extra clay. Artist created random textures and then applied a manganese wash. The inside is a low fire clear glaze which seals the pot for any purpose.
