Stoneware Clay with Stoneware Glazes

Story
This vase was assembled from several wheel thrown pots; before initial firing sgraffito (incising into clay with a sharp tool) was done by the artist. Shapes and designs on the vase were not planned out but just drawn and sgraffito on the spur of the moment. After initial firing (bisque firing) color was applied with underglazes and a clear stoneware glaze applied over the vase.
