Story
This raku vase was fired in my outdoor gas kiln. The filament clay is from New Mexico Clay much like paper clay. It is a lighter clay since the filaments are lighter than clay particles. The exterior glaze is red. The interior glaze is red and a peacock matte glass. This piece should not be stored in direct sunlight as the glaze will fade with time. This is typical of many raku pieces.
