The Frog’s Leap is a show about the artist’s process- rituals, revelations, and disturbances that lead to breakthroughs. Lapis Room shares the work of 18 local artists in the form of raw sketches, unfinished pieces, explorations in alternative mediums, and works that demonstrate frog leaps and seismic turning points before, during, after, around, over and in between each series or artwork.

 

We’re lifting veils, drying out damp stagnation, and getting over our egos and the expectations of others. Revealing what is meant to be ethereal or even trivial in the artist process.  Composting the idea of completion.
