Story
This Mica clay is sourced from the Manzano Mountains near Albuquerque, New Mexico, offers an authentic experience reminiscent of traditional Native American pottery. This naturally micaceous clay is air floated and blended with natural minerals to mimic the rich, earthy quality of local Taos NM clay. This hand-built pot is textured with Artist created random textures and then a manganese wash was applied. The inside is a low fire clear glaze which seals the pot for any purpose.
